Whilst traditional railway sleepers look great outdoors they will not work inside or above a fire due to the amount of creocote preservative in them. The heat indoors causes a distasteful odour.
If used as part of the structure of the building, engineers have a preference to know the exact wood type, grade and moisture content.
We can supply sleepers in Oak, Softwood and Tudor wood with a little notice.
